Zebra ZT220 Thermal Barcode Label Printer
The Zebra ZT200 Series family of thermal barcode label printers are built on the legacy of the Zebra Stripe Series and S4M printers. Both the ZT220 and ZT230 are available in direct thermal only or thermal transfer as a compact, small footprint tabletop printer. Both are available in 203 or 300dpi resolutions. Both will use standard 3" ID/8" OD industrial printer media or 1" ID up to 6" OD. Thermal transfer versions use ribbons on a 1" core, 300m for the ZT220 and up to 450m for the ZT230. Maximum print width is 4.09" at speeds up to 6" per second. USB 2.0 and RS-232 serial ports are standard. Optional data communications include parallel, ZebraNet 10/100 Ethernet and ZebraNet 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi. Other options include a label peeler (with or without internal liner take-up), front mounted guillotine cutter and real-time clock (RTC). ZT220 Features The ZT220 is housed in a durable, high-impact polymer case and features a simple three-button user interface with no graphic display. It is a lower cost alternative to the ZT230 and intended to be used in an environment where minimal user intervention is required. If you have existing supplies for thermal transfer printing, it is important to note that this printer uses a 300m ribbon and will not accommodate the 450m ribbon used in the ZT230 and many other industrial printers. All Zebra thermal transfer printers use ribbons that are coated-side out. ZT230 Features The ZT230 is housed in a rugged metal case. It includes an LCD graphical user interface and full feature keypad, ideally suited to printing environments that require frequent changes to label format and/or printer settings. Thermal transfer models accommodate a full length 450m ribbon for minimized printing downtime.
