And moving and resizing objects on your labels is as easy as 1, 2, 3. BarTender gives you total control over your label's appearance. Specify any size and quantity of bar codes and any size and style of text on any size label (or page). Choose from nearly twenty bar code languages, including all of the major symbologies, as well as two-dimensional and postal bar codes. It takes an entire separate page to cover all of the options for reading in data from external sources.

BarTender doesn't just "preview" or approximate how your labels will look. Bar codes and different text sizes are shown with extraordinary precision. By accurately viewing your label images before you print them out, you finish your design work faster. In designing BarTender as a true Windows application, special consideration was given to the ability to work cooperatively with other applications. This includes extremely versatile data importing capabilities and three easy ways to control BarTender from within other programs.

The Basic Edition of BarTender is intended for users who just need BarTender's essential label design and printing features. The most important "core" label design features. Includes all text, graphics and linear bar code support. Supports simple, numeric serialization. Does not offer integration, enterprise message handling, or external data access of any kind. No password protection, VB Script customization, text filtering, job logging, or 2D bar codes. No advanced or custom serialization.
