Receipt Printers are found in almost all retail environments and differ in size, printing speed, paper width, and more to provide functionality for a variety of applications. Printing methods for Receipt Printers include Thermal and Dot-Matrix (Impact). Thermal Receipt Printers are best for high-volume receipt printing applications, and can also handle graphics & generally make higher-quality receipts. Dot-Matrix (or Impact) Receipt Printers are useful in situations where exposure to high temperatures is a possibility, such as in kitchens or areas where the receipts will be exposed to prolonged sunlight.
